Your clients nutrition requirements / targets may vary across the week / month based on their training / competition schedule or weight making protocol. On SENPRO you can set two types of targets:

  • Default target

  • Target for specific day - a target set for a specific day, for example, Saturday 26 September and overrides any default target that may have been set for that day.

When in the Planner, click on the cog in the nutrition target block. The side bar will appear. Here you will be able to calculate your clients nutrition requirements / targets.

Using energy equations

To use the macro calculator, you will be required to enter some basic information about your client, including their gender, weight and height.

Choose from the following energy equations:

  • Schofield (1985)

  • Henry Oxford (2005)

  • Mifflin St Jeor (1990)

  • Harris Benedict (1919)

  • Institute of Medicine (2005)

Once you have calculated your clients energy requirements, tab over to the macro distribution. Here you can enter the percentage distribution of carbohydrates, proteins and fats based on the calculated energy requirements, then click calculate. You will notice the calculated requirements appear in the Nutrition Targets section below.

Using grams per kilogram (g/kg)

The grams per kilogram calculation uses your clients weight (kg) only. Simply enter the grams per kilogram for carbohydrates, proteins and fats, then click calculate. You will notice the calculated requirements appear in the Nutrition Targets section below.

Entering nutrition requirements manually

You can enter nutrition requirements manually. Simply enter the nutrition requirements in the Nutrition Targets tabs. Click Save Changes when you're done.
